Sunday Morning Worship
We gather together on Sunday, which is known as the Lord’s Day, to give God the glory and worship that He deserves.  We receive encouragement and spiritual strength from the preaching of God’s word, singing, prayer, celebrating the sacraments, and the fellowship of the saints.  Sunday morning is distinctly and self-consciously focused on worship which is defined by the Bible in broad terms as simple, spiritual, and reverent.

Small Group Bible Studies
We offer adult Bible and book studies for discipleship and theological training.  These studies provide encouragement, spiritual nourishment, fellowship, and prayer.  Groups are at least 3 people and not more than 7. These groups are always open for new members.  For more information, see Ralph.

ā€œLIFEā€ Groups/Supper Clubs
Intentionally pursuing authentic relationships with each other, neighbors, and friends in the context of family, hospitality, dinner, sermon review, prayer, service, and outreach.

Christian Foundations Sunday School Track
A time for Biblical, theological, and practical learning based on current issues and needs surrounding our church, families, and culture.  Various topics on Sunday mornings before church.

Leadership/Officer Training
Christ Church Sanford is a mission church of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA).  Leadership/Officer training includes both theological and practical ministry skills designed to prepare our future officers with ministry skills and discernment for service in the local church.

Children’s Ministry
We come alongside our parents to offer resources that will aid them in that journey of Gospel Centered parenting.  Children’s membership is primarily designed around training our children to understand the gospel, the sacraments, and why church is important.

Youth Ministry

Our youth ministry is designed to build and disciple our young adults as we prepare them for adulthood.  We do that by various means such as small groups, bible studies, retreats, and special events.  We look forward to adding a summer missions program in the near future.

Special Events
We gather for special events to build relationships and celebrate what God has done in our midst.  Some are just for fun.  Some include service.  All are intended as a safe place for visitors to experience God honoring community. Some fill various needs of the church.  Each one will be focused on glorifying God and enjoying one another.

Evangelism, Outreach, and Mission Events
We want to be a church that gives our lives and the gospel away to those whom we rub shoulders with every day where we live, work, and play.  We believe the church is called to serve the least and the lost through both word and deed outreaches.  Our primary form of outreach is through personal relationships using our ā€œPrayer, Care, Shareā€ model.  We also want to do some fun outreach and service events that support our community and that give our church opportunities to invite friends and family to experience real Christians in the real world.
